India vs Ned: Shivam Dube blasts fifty as India finishes group stage on a high

The Indian team continued its winning streak in the T20 World Cup and defeated the Netherlands by 17 runs. This is the fourth consecutive win for the host Indian team in Group A and they will now enter the Super-8 along with high spirit.

Its first match here will be against South Africa on 22 February. In this match, the Indian team won the toss and batting first, scored 193 runs for 6 wickets.

In reply, the Netherlands team fought very well but could only score 176 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. India maintained its unbeaten record against the Netherlands and defeated them for the fifth consecutive match.

Victory hero Shivam Dubey first half-century

The hero of the Indian team’s victory was Shivam Dubey, who scored his first half-century in the T20 World Cup and played an innings of 66 runs.

He played 31 balls and hit 4 fours and 6 sixes. Shivam scored his sixth half-century in international T20. Apart from this, he also did wonders with the ball and took 2 wickets.

Shivam also added 76 runs in 35 balls for the fifth wicket with Hardik Pandya (30 runs).

Turning point:The Dutch team eased the pressure on India.

India reached 190 from 69/3 thanks to Dubey’s performance.
India had a poor start in this match, as Abhishek Sharma (0), Ishna Kishan (18), and Tilak (31) failed to play long innings.

Team India were struggling at 69/3 after nine overs, but the Dutch team let the opportunity slip away. Shivam Dubey added 41 runs with Surya and then 76 runs with Hardik for the fourth wicket, taking India to 190.

Abhishek has failed to open his account five times in the last seven innings in T20 International matches; his performance is now worrying the team management.
