Vaibhav became the youngest New Sixer King

Fourteen-year-old opening batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed 70 runs off 68 balls, hitting five fours and six sixes, in the second youth ODI against the hosts Australia Under-19s here. With this innings, Vaibhav became the batsman with the most sixes in the history of youth ODI cricket.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi Scored 70 against Australia

In the second match of the ODI series being played between India and Australia, the Indian team scored 300 runs in 49.4 overs and won the match by bowling out Australia for 294 runs, in which Vaibhav Suryanshi played a brilliant inning of 70 runs and became the sixer king.

Vaibhav has 41 sixes in 10 matches and broke the record of Indian player Unmukt Chand, who has 38 sixes in 21 matches.Vaibhav has scored 540 runs in his total 10 international matches so far, which includes 41 sixes. After him is Anmukt Chand with 38 sixes and lastly is Javad Abrar of Bangladesh who has hit 35 sixes.

Vaibhav, who will be making waves for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025, is considered a star of the future. He has played just 10 youth ODIs and scored 540 runs with one century and three half-centuries. During this period, he has hit 50 fours and 41 sixes. Thus, more than 80 percent of his runs have come from boundaries.
